Admin Dashboard Adds Goals and Performance Review Widgets
The Admin Dashboard now includes two new performance widgets that give admins consolidated visibility into goals and performance review tasks. Admins can track goal creation, compliance, and completion health, and monitor review progress to identify gaps in reviewer assignment and workflow steps. This enables proactive action when goals or review tasks fall off track.
What's New
- Goals widget surfacing total goals, completion percentage, and at-risk employees
- Tracking of goals that are past due, due soon, or pending approval
- Identification of employees with fewer than the minimum required goals
- Performance review task widget ranking the lowest-completion tasks
- Drill-down flyout with review-level and step-level progress charts
- Direct navigation to the performance review admin site for corrective actions

Description
The Admin Dashboard provides administrators with a consolidated workspace for completing frequently performed tasks and proactively monitoring system metrics. This release adds two new performance widgets: a Goals widget and a Performance Review Task widget.
The Goals widget displays metrics such as the total number of active goals, the goal completion percentage, the number of employees past due or due soon, goals pending approval, and employees holding fewer than the minimum required goals. The Performance Review Task widget surfaces the six tasks with the lowest completion percentages, with a View All flyout listing every active in-progress task. A task details flyout presents a pie chart of review-level completion status and a bar graph of step-level progress distribution, with a direct link to the performance review admin site.
Business Need
Performance admins previously lacked insight into how many goals existed across the platform and the status of those goals. They also had no visibility into performance review task progress at scale, making it difficult to drill into completion status and step progress across all managed tasks.
These widgets close that gap by giving admins visibility into goal and performance review progress at scale, enabling them to proactively nudge owners and take corrective action when goals or review tasks are not on track, helping maintain the overall health of the organization's performance processes.
Key Features
- The Goals widget surfaces total active goals, completion percentage, and counts of employees who are at risk, drawn from the Root OU goal configuration and preferences.
- Admins can track goals that are past due, due soon (end date within seven days), or stuck in a pending approval status.
- The dashboard identifies employees who hold fewer than the minimum number of goals required by goal preferences.
- The Performance Review Task widget ranks the six tasks with the lowest completion percentages so admins focus on what needs attention first.
- A task details flyout provides review-level completion status and step-level progress distribution through interactive charts.
- Admins can navigate directly from the widget to the performance review admin site to track progress and perform corrective actions.
Deployment & Considerations
These enhancements are generally available with this release. They appear on stage with the start of UAT and on production with the production release, and are on by default for customers using the Admin Dashboard. Both widgets are available only to single architecture customers.
No new permissions are introduced; existing permissions are required to access the feature. The Goals widget requires the performance goals module to be enabled, and metric visibility depends on the goal configuration and preferences of the Root OU. For the past due and due soon metrics, shared goals are counted toward the goal owner of the shared goal.
