Description
This release introduces time zone-based posting in the Recruiting Workflow. When editing a job posting and selecting a career site, recruiters can now assign a specific local time zone to the posting. For example, selecting the Sydney time zone makes the job follow Sydney local business time for both activation and expiration.
The system automatically schedules the posting to start at 12:00 AM and end at 11:59:59 PM in the selected local time zone on the chosen end date. Behind the scenes, the platform converts the selected local time zone into UTC while preserving the recruiter's intended schedule. Candidates then see the application deadline displayed in their own local time zone, based on their browser and system settings.
Business Need
Previously, recruiters had to manually calculate UTC differences when scheduling job postings across regions, which was error-prone and time-consuming. Candidates applying from different regions also lacked a clear, localized view of application deadlines, creating confusion in a global hiring process.
By allowing recruiters to manage postings according to a region's local business time and automatically presenting candidates with accurate, localized deadlines, this feature reduces manual effort, minimizes scheduling errors, and delivers a more transparent and reliable global hiring experience.

Deployment & Considerations
This feature is generally available with this release as a default-on enhancement to the Recruiting Workflow. Time zone selection is only supported on mobile-friendly career sites. For standard career sites, the time zone is pre-selected to UTC and cannot be changed; Cornerstone therefore recommends using mobile-friendly career sites for a more flexible and user-friendly posting experience.
Administrators and recruiters should ensure that job postings requiring localized scheduling are configured on mobile-friendly career sites. Appropriate permissions to edit and manage job postings within the Recruiting Workflow are required. No additional limitations were highlighted in the demo.
